Fun A Day Dundee is back and better than ever.

You may remember that this time last year there was an exhibition in the Bradshaw Arts Space which showed off art made over the month of January. Here is the Cooper Gallery blog post I made for that exhibition. The concept came from the artclash collective in Philadelphia, where they have organised this annual project for 9 years. Fun A Day has now expanded to 25 shows a year happening throughout the world.

This years Dundee exhibition will be one night only, Friday February 8, 2013 from 6-9pm at Roseangle Cafe Arts (130 Perth). There will be over 30 people showing off their projects. Matt-R will be performing: 'the Rose or die Rose - Roseangle Cafe Arts Fun A Day Dundee Two Thousand And Thirteen' around 7:00 and the Dundee band, Playground Tactics, will be performing around 8:00. We are joining with the DCA (whose preview of Jutta Koether's 'Seasons and Sacraments' is from 6:30-9) for an after-party at Redd on Sessions Street from 9-2. All events are free.

Please come on over for the opening and see what sort of creative things have been going on. Other links to look at for more information include funadaydundee.wordpress.com and a piece on creativedundee.com. Thanks also to all the people participating in, and helping this to happen, and the Student Curatorial Team. And below you will find a few images from this year's project.
