Relics of Attachment Part II Preview

The 14th of February saw the preview of Relics of Attachment Part II. The event was attended by many and contained a varied body of work. Twenty-eight artists exhibited and the range of work included video installation, performance art, painting, sculpture, textiles, printmaking, assemblage, photography, object art and ephemeral art.

Such a rich selection of work enabled us to curate a successful exhibition, enhancing the concepts of nostalgia introduced in Relics of Attachment Part I.

Towards the end of the evening Liam Dunn performed an excerpt from his Fuckist Manisfesto, which was received with great interest. The buzz of the night continued with an after party at the local Cocktail House Boudoir, who were kind enough to sponsor the event.

We are very pleased with the outcome of this exhibition. A lot of hard work was put into the project. We would like to thank those who took part in the show, those who encouraged and helped in its creation and those who have attended and shown interest in the event.

The Relics Team Lucas Battich, Rachael Disbury, Lisa Gordon, Cathy O'Brien and Vivienne Russell would like to give special thanks to Laura and the Cooper Gallery for their advice and facilities.
